Members, friends and families are invited to help celebrate Last Chance Audubon Society’s 50th birthday! On Sunday, July 31st, LCAS will host a celebration to commemorate 50 years of education, conservation and enjoyment of birds. The celebration will take place at the Spring Meadow State Park pavilion and will run from 4pm until 7pm. At 4pm we will be opening two kegs of specially brewed beer courtesy of our friends at Blackfoot River Brewing Co. Light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will also be offered. In addition, the Justin Case Band will be providing music for the afternoon’s festivities. At 4:30, bird walks on the new Beasley Memorial Trail and around the lake will be offered. At 5:30, a celebratory cake will be cut, and a short presentation will be offered by our chapter president as we look to the next 50 years of LCAS.
