Christmas Bird Count date announced

The annual Helena Christmas Bird Count hosted by Last Chance Audubon is a family friendly event for birders of all ages and abilities.  The only requirement is a desire to find birds and support citizen science along the way.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 16, and don’t miss this great event! If the weather throws us a curve ball, our backup date is Saturday, December 30.  Please join us at Jorgenson’s Restaurant (11th Ave. and Lamborn) at 6:30 am if you are planning to have breakfast at the restaurant.  If you will only be there to meet your group, please arrive by 7:15 am. The day will wrap up with a potluck at 6:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United
