Last Chance Audubon Society

Helena resident and avid bird photographer, Bob Martinka,will share his new photos of winter bird species local to the Helena valley and discuss bird identification techniques this Tuesday, December12th, at 7:00 p.m. in the L&C Library large meeting room. The event is presented by the Last Chance Audubon Society and is free and open to the public.

Bob Martinka retired in 1998 after nearly 30 years with Montana Fish,Wildlife, and Parks. Since then, Bob has become an avid birder, capturing unique photographs of birds in their natural surroundings.

Preparations for the upcoming LCAS Christmas Bird Count on Saturday,December 16th, will be discussed and coordinated after the presentation. Anyone interested in birds, expert or novice, is invited to participatein the Bird Count by attending the meeting or calling 442-8142.
