LCAS Highlights Riparian Planting Projects

Jim Wilbur, Watershed Coordinator for the Lewis and Clark County Water Quality Protection District, will discuss several watershed projects benefiting area wildlife this Tuesday, October 17th, at 7:00 p.m. in the L&C Library large meeting room. The event is sponsored by the Last Chance Audubon Society and is free and open to the public.

Jim will highlight stream projects in the Lower Ten Mile and Prickly Pear watersheds, as well as improvements to riparian areas of the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds. District projects are funded partially by LCAS grants.

Jim Wilbur has served as the Watershed Coordinator since 2001.  He holds degrees in political science and earth sciences.
