LCAS presents “Montana Owls”
Monday, September 11th, 2006Matt Seidensticker, a Twin Bridges ornithologist, will present an audio/visual program on the owl species of Montana this Tuesday, September 19th, at 7:00 p.m. in the L&C Library large meeting room. The event is sponsored by the Last Chance Audubon Society and is free and open to the public.
Matt will document the life history of all twelve owl species living in Montana. Educational and entertaining, Matt’s presentation will includes “hooting and tooting,” a demonstration of his ability to call a variety of owl species. Children are encouraged to attend this lively event.
Matt spends his summers assisting acclaimed researcher Denver Holt, studying snowy owls in their Alaskan nesting grounds.
